will any 250w bulb work with a 250w ballast ?

    Im not sure if I can buy any old bulb or have to buy a specific bulb

    well i mean is it a hps ballast? metal halide? switchable? theres more info needed

    you cant get a 250w socket and put a HPS or MH bulb in it and expect it to work

    Im not a fucking retard lol , but from this thread It seems like I am , It was because I was talking to my friend while posting it .

    I have my answer now , the ballast runs a s50 hps bulb , also the ballast is switchable to mh , but thats later .

    as long as you have a socket, and a bulb that is the same wattage as your ballast, you will be all set, yes.

    the bulb has to be either HPS or MH to work
