Will a Male on My Balcony Pollinate My Indoor Plants?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by SantaMonicaMtns, Mar 6, 2012.

  1. I have a male on my balcony that I like the looks of, and want to keep as a houseplant, or patio plant, as it were. But, I've heard that pollen is insidious, and can travel great distances, going where you don't want it to. So, is it safe to keep the male on my balcony, and do you think it could pollinate the females in my closet grow area? The two are about 20 feet apart, and separated by a door that's never closed, and the patio sliding glass door/screen.

    Thanks

  2. I wouldn't ... Thats taking a big risk.

  3. Yeah man, that's WAAAAY too risky.

  4. Besides traviling through the air it would get on you and hitch a ride

  5. Transplant it some were you can come back and see it out side if it gets plucked o well its a male.

  6. It's gone. I juiced it. Got about an ounce of dark green juice out of the 3 foot bush. I don't know if I should drink it all at once, or not. I'm not sure what exactly is in the male plant as far as cannabinoids, etc.

  7. I wouldn't drink it at all
