Where to start. everynight is an adventure honestly. Maybe not 'wierd' per se, some definitily, others just a magical trip. I always wake up and try to put together my dreams, seeing if i can make sense (or see 'clues' that im spose to act on in my conscious life) of whats going on. I love dreams tho. If you think about it it's a magical trip everynight you dive into your subconscious and the mind is so sweet that you feel your in there in that moment. Dreams feel so real. So so real. Then i awake and am like ahh, wtf sometimes? lol. But for the most part i enjoy most everydream. I dream some sick shit too at times, a lot of othat freud libido thing going on right hither. lol . fuck it tho, its all good, im just enjoying the human experience in every aspect. Cool thread too.
Lucid dreaming is a gift and a curse. I had a dream i was in a football type stadium fighting aliens from halo with a carbine and some home made explosives. Was pretty fuckin intense.
lol I have a problem whenever i go lucid that I will forget im lucid. lol. Like I can dream up a setting, but then eventually i always forget im lucid and it just plays out as another dream i cant control. The last time I was lucid, I was in the Matrix, then all of a sudden i jumped really high and floated away into space and i couldn't get back then panicked and woke up. anyways the weirdest dream i had recently was that everyone was getting ready to die because the sun was going to bump the Earth out of orbit the following day. Makes no sense at all, I know. funny thing is that i went to sleep in my dream and woke up in real life believing that the sun was going to bump into us any second. my gf woke me up and i immediately asked her if it happened already. lol.. came to my senses shortly after. oh yeah. another problem with my lucid dreams is that if im sleeping on my side, my whole world in my dream is sideways. Or everything is right side up and Im on my side. weird shit.
I've had dreams of a giant meteor coming from the sky ready to kill us all, i had dreams they were testing a nuke on the town right next to my old house. I've had ones where the sun blows up, etc etc. I hate those dreams but atleast i know if it ever happened i'd be ready for it. I have night terrors now so i can't enjoy dreaming and take medicine to forget it. The only thing my dreams have done for me is prepare me for the worst moments in my life and actually made them much easier to get over. Such as breaking up with my ex of 5 years. I dreamed about it so much by the time it happened i was ready to move on. Ya know they say that's what dreams are for, a survival instinct so you could live out life and death situations without being in danger so you'd know what to do when it happens.
lol there have been a million threads on this topic. The last one I posted a really crazy dream about getting blown up by a nuke and then going to hell and being brought up to heaven by an angel. Shit was off the wall. If I can find that post I'll repost it here haha.
