Ok, I'm going to be quite busy this summer which means I won't be able to water my plants as often as I would like. I live near a patch of wet, marshy land and I was wondering whether it would be possible to keep the plant raised from the ground with ropes running from the water into the bottom of the plant pot. Do you think this would act as a wick, keeping the soil damp, or just not work? Cheers, W.
