You can find Trolls on every site. We just tend to have fewer of them then many of the other Cannabis sites do. The vast majority of Old School members are indeed here to help. Not to slant the rest of the members as most of them are good people and honest in their advice. Put nasty people on ignore. It's a great feature.

There are bad apples in every bunch. I run a couple bass fishing forums and the way some of those guys bicker back and forth, you'd think they're 12. LOL
One thing I HAVE learned at the ripe young age of 55 is it's probably best not to publicly call out those who upset you. That generally just creates more drama. Best of luck to you.

Because...

 

There are a few people that bother me on here because they think that think their way is the only way and aggressively push it. Or they do the opposite and fail at something and become aggressively against it. We all need to remember there are so many variables with growing weed that what works for some might not work for others and vice versa. When you respond to someone's post come in with an open mind and the intention of helping with their grow to the best of your ability no matter the situation. The people who want to be jerks and say things like "your grow sucks, you don't know what your doing,etc" should be ignored. They do it because they actually have no confidence in their own grows and are searching for confirmation bias to make themselves feel better about their own decisions.

 

I agree. I can think of one toxic forum member right off the top of my head. I've actually thought about writing to admins about his posting habits. But in the end, i know they already see it. There are assholes everywhere. Just skip their posts. You'll get to know who is who.
