    They call Marijuana "pot" because the spanish word potiguaya means Cannabis Leaves. And there you have it, Pot comes from Potiguaya.

    You sure about that? Last time I checked, cannabis sale meant cannabis leaves in Spanish.

    Theres thousands of names 4 it... Chocolat is Spanish 4 hash, N Mota means Pot in Spanish...

    Magic Weed: History of Marijuana

    there's a woman historian that talks about it in there, it comes from a French word (i believe), I can't remember exactly what it is though, I'll post/edit later if i browse through it.

    I got a book called Cannabis, a history and they said the same thing. It's actually a good book with alot of info.

    lol i think i saw that book once in my local library. every now and then i went back to borrow it, but i never found it.. like a mystic unicorn or something.. :smoke:

    then again i guess i could buy it online or something.. but nahh
