[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw1zM6q7J14]Why Do People Like Dubstep?! -Weird Theory - YouTube[/ame] Makes perfect sense to me Edit: Mods...move this to the video or music section if you want. I didn't really think about what section to post this in first. Sorry...
Hmm, Interesting. That was actually well articulated and I actually took something from that analysis of musical progression. And I still Barely like much Dubstep, most of it is just tooo much.
[quote name='"darth tree"']because its trippy mayng[/quote] Trippy? Hardly. Try listening to psychedelic rock...
From his haircut I wasn't expecting anything intelligent and I was pleasantly surprised. It certainly makes sense to me since people spend more and more of their time on the internet. These electronic noises used to bug the shit out of me when we had dial up though. FUCK AOL
better move it to Pandoras box because... wait for it... its government mind control man... lol jk i just love bass... i like when my stuff shakes
Ha, I always get reminded of those old dial-up tones when I hear dubstep. I'm glad I didn't hop on the dubstep train even being in an urban environment, but then again I love the feel of drumsticks in my hand and a bass pedal under my foot, not to mention the crisp sound and feel of a real guitar. Writing music isn't supposed to be done on a computer. Computers are to be used for porn, not as a musical instrument.
Everyone's got their thing man...all art through the manipulation of sound can be classified as music in my book. Using your argument, playing the electric guitar or a keyboard isn't music because back in the day real instruments were non-electric.
this is also dubstep. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7ahneEUfcc]Skream - Smiley Face - YouTube[/ame] i somewhat disagree with this guy. If you know dubstep well as a ganre, you can actually track the progress from this stuff above, to the stuff that is in the charts at the moment. People didnt just start making this music, it is musical progression. but thats just my opinion
