Why most African-American women wear Lace Front Wigs?

Lace front wigs are the most well-liked among African-American women like Beyonce and Tyra Banks because they provide the most natural and realistic hairline. Besides them, generally everyone in Hollywood has worn hair that is not their own at some point in time.

Why then are they so popular and how is it that lace wigs look so perfectly natural? Lace wigs come in two kinds: full lace wigs and lace front wigs. A full lace wig can be styled in any form like in a high ponytail making it impossible for anyone to perceive that you are wearing a lace front wig. Each hair is bonded separately onto the lace cap which shapes part of the lace wig. They are also inclined to fall naturally. There are many ways in which African-American lace front wigs are placed in the head. Women with long hair need to be braided first for a safe fit. People with shorter hair are placed under a wig cap which is the same color as their skin tone. Special adhesives are made especially for use on lace wigs. Others prefer to trim the wig so that it merges with their naturally growing hair. Lace wigs are well known to have worked well for people suffering from “alopecia” or have undergone chemotherapy.

Lace Wigs may be fairly expensive than regular wigs, yet they are guaranteed to last longer.
