Why it would be nice if it were legalized

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by jlear3, May 12, 2011.

  1. Both of my parents are horrible alcoholics, my mother more-so than my father... My father smokes quite a bit, and I believe it has a lot to do with why he doesn't drink so much... anyways, idk how many people out there have had to deal with alcoholic parents, but ill just say its hard, and can really mess up ur head... If bud were legal and alcohol weren't I believe the world would be a lot better place.. i mean, weed just don't ruin families like that..

on a seperate note, I used to drink heavy (still young) and a while ago got into a horrible accident, over 100k worth of debt, lost everything, and it made me realize i have NO ambition to drink.. at all. thanks weed, cuz I'm sure without you, I'd become an alcoholic and ruin more peoples lives... any1 care to continue? Im hella baked.

  2. You can't tax marijuana like you can alcohol. There's no money in it for the government.

Bud is too easy to grow and cultivate for the government to keep tabs on everyone.

  3. i knoww, its horrible, selfish, and wrong. government is supposed to be run by the people for the fuckin people.. tax condoms or some shit more, idc, just legalize the shit, save millions

  4. If we lived in a perfect world where the government actually cared about their people and their health, alcohol would be illegal and bud would (probably) be legal... But there's no money in marijuana for the government.. in fact, in the US, they currently make more from fining people than they would from tax revenue.

  5. they should just tax food and income more, the unimportant stuff...

ok now im just bein a fanboy but I have to admit, us is a bit closer than it used to be :p

  6. The US might be. However I'm in the Bible Belt, unfortunately, so I have a ways to go.

  7. lets buy antarctica and make it the largest country with marijuana legalized completely, see how many people move to a shitty environment to have what they love

ok not antarctica, maybe like nj or some other shitty place :p

  8. you call food and income "unimportant" stuff? id rather have weed stay illegal if it meant raising prices on basic necessities, most people act as if weed is everything and their addicted to it like crack fiends, sure it'd be easier if it was legal assuming they dont add chemicals and shit to it like with cigarettes and sell it in stores but either way legal or not you're still going to smoke it so does it really matter as long as your smart and don't get arrested for it

  9. I'm from NJ and it's not that shitty, in weed terms and location.

  10. read the second part of the same exact post... its a fuckin joke, get out my thread with ur trollin self.. if you dotn't got somethin nice to say hit alt-f4 before you type here.

edit: shocked, that was also a joke.. im there every summer..

  11. your jokes fail if only you understand them

  12. You buy Beer, you can make beer.
You buy Cigarettes, you can grow tobacco.
You can buy weed at 7/11, you can grow it.

People just want to buy the drug they want.
People dont want to take the time for the drug.
It would work like a dispensary.

(Im not saying everyone doesn't want to take the time, but some do not want to wait 3-4 months)

edit: Everyone makes fun of NJ.

  13. pretty sure more people understand them.... if not i guess oh well.. but they're really not that complicated.. at all.
