Why is Marijuana illegal? (Very Informative)

you couldn't have posted that at a better time as I was just in need of a good history on the illegalization of pot for an essay I'm righting. Its a "definiation" essay where we have to define a word in contrast to words that are similar. so I am contrasting "The Toker" to "The pothead", one being a neutral term and the other having negative connotations in society. anyway man thanks!

Yeah thats cool, very informative like he said. Ive never seen a history of it that indepth. (Guess thats a result of all that propaganda) But that article sounded like it definitly had a pretty strong bias, not to say it didnt make a lot of strong points.

 

So sad we become the superpower and fuck up all the fun drugs people love to do and have been using for thousands and thousands of years. Drugs are bad for you (some of the ones I mentioned are) but people have been using them for a long time and well humans love drugs. We've ruined the fun and kill people (125,000 die from alcohol and 375,000-400,000 die from useless tobacco)
