Why is it that after every bong hit, I get resin on my lips?

    I received a bong last year and ever since then, with MOST rips I have resin on my lips. (I smoke straight). It comes off immediately, but has a foul taste and smell- it’s resin for sure. The bong can be clean, sometimes it’s not but regardless this will happen and somehow it’s become more frequent. Other people have used my bong and this never happens to them. I’ve asked them if I’m somehow smoking wrong and to watch me, but no! I’ve smoked almost every day for a couple of years and I haven’t experienced this before, with other bongs or pipes or ANYTHING. what could this be? (I’m already in the process of buying a new bong, hence really wanting to prevent this lol)

    dont let fresh air in through the sides of the mouth piece while you're taking a hit

    keep your mouth locked tight into the mouthpiece

    no more rez on the lips.

    I'm not sure why or how this makes a difference but... it does.

    This is not the first time I am hearing this, and seeing this on these forums.

    cant really tell you why but one thing to consider is the carbon filtered ‘Mouth Peace’

    cleaner toke and cleaner lips

    What style of bong are you using? I don't think I've ever experienced this. I have gotten res on my mouth from joints I think though.

    I get this once in a while i notice in smaller bongs use warmer water and the res lips goes away.
