lately i've been on a bit of a astrophysics binge, and i've found that time is nearly immpossible to explain or truely understand as a concept-it merely is. I believe this is because we are three dimensional beings, and time exists as an understandable dimension only past the fourth.
I watched some BBC documentary about time.. it was mind boggling.. I wish I could find a link, maybe someone else can.. it was talking about how things can be in two places at the exact same time and blah blah you know you move slower the moar you approach the speed of light, obviously i'm leaving out tons of shit because I saw this documentary like a year ago it was on video google.
http://www.tenthdimension.com/ Check out the flash animation. It's very simplified but interesting nonetheless.
In my opinion, time is a system/construct developed through evolution by humans and other animals to make sense of what time isn't, if that makes sense. We have to view time the way we do in order to survive. Time doesn't exist, except for those who rely on it to make order out of chaos.
time does exist. say 40 million years ago a star exploded.40 million years ago that happened.it doesnt happened every day at the exact same time and place.i know humans made the measurement years but time is real.people say the earth will explode in timmeeee.things are always changing and progressing.nothings on constant repeat
time is nothing but a delusion reality is a delusion humans will never understand the universe because they too are delusional its just not possible to define existence perception is a delusion
its a measurment, so the question is invalid as measurments have no substance. for example, "what is a meter"
agree 40 million years ago as conceived or theorized in the NOW. Things always change in response to forces in space. It is just as likely that the only dimension is space, and that 'time' does not exist except in our minds. There is no evidence that time exists. Apparently humans have chosen to run with the other possibility that it does exist. It is all pure 100% speculation.
Aren't we 4th dimensional beings? I'm pretty sure that we are, but I could be using a somewhat different interpretation, I suppose. And my understanding is that time isn't an illusion, it's an objective dimension of the universe which exists independent of an observer. Duration, on the other hand, is purely subjective and an invention of humanity. We perceive the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd dimensions as position (another human invention), and we perceive the 4th (time) as duration.
There is no such thing as tomorrow or yesterday, it's all really just one big day, and that's in laymens terms. Essential life is a photograph, it's still, time is a limitation subset measuring the unmeasurable. It has to do with the concept of increasing and decreasing, you can have no up without a down, and if I was a perfect Atom, and I simply "was" in a realitvely biblical or religious/scientific sense. I'd come up with the idea that multiplying myself without the knowledge of self, aka limiting my perception of the all only to magnify my already infinite wisdom. If you are everything and you are perfect, create something imperfect, to make more perfect. But that's just a fleeting thought Some people just call it the big bang.
