Why havent plants pre flowered after almost 3 weeks of 12/12?

  1. In a few days the girls (hopefully girls) will be on 12/12 light for 3 weeks, i have yet to see any signs of anything between the nodes.

    Why would this be?

They all seem healthy and happy, all each 1ft to 1.5 ft.

  2. 3 weeks?

most flower times are 7-9 weeks.

  3. Possible light leak?

Make sure your timer is 12/12 and that the dark cycle is not interrupted by any light and wait that is all you can do. What strain are you growing? How old are the plants? Seed or clone?

They will begin to show flowers based on there genetics as long as your 12/12 is correct. Many sativa and mixed strains take more than three weeks to begin flowering this is not unusual but completely normal.

This is true sativas take much longer than indicas to show. I had a critical + & a blueberry gum in the same area and the critical showed in 6 days and the blueberry took 3 1/2 weeks

  6. Also depends how mature (or not) the plants were when you put them in 12/12. If they had been vegging for weeks and were showing alternating nodes then they will show sex sooner, if they are younger and immature than it will take longer.
