Why doesnt happy frog soil have alot of peat moss?

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by alexjones, Aug 31, 2019.

  1. I just put my germinated seed in the happy frog soil and I sprayed that mother fugger soil for 5 minutes straight and get the soil as moist as possible and about an hour or 2 the soil is as almost dry as fugg. This is why I prefer ocean soil because it has a good amount peat moss to retain moisture.

  3. Peat moss is acidic so that’s just the max they can put into it.

  4. I never had that issue with happy frog when I used it.

How do you test for moisture and what size container?

  6. What's your humidity at?

  7. That's not a great way to know how moist the soil is. I know its recommended by some but theres better ways. The top dries out faster then the middle. I guarantee your soil isnt as dry as you think it is. Be careful or you will run into over watering issues. Learn the difference in weight between the soil being wet vs dry until you get the watering thing down.
