I just was thinking that they should make one cause it would be pretty cool to keep up with gc posts and stuff while im away from my comp, which is pretty much all of the time. It would also be very cool to be able to search through threads and stuff to pass the time. I know this thread has prob already been posted before....but all well, my search button is broked
i only got edge network where im at and the web browser take forever compared to apps that let you access a website geared specifically for the iphone. just too much hassle and time to use the browser
I don't understand how your search button is "broked," it's working just fine for everybody else. There's a million threads about this already. It would cost someone $99 a year to make and keep a GC iPhone app. Not gonna happen.
I'm working on getting SJ (website owner) to enable support serverside for an app that already exists across several platforms that makes vbulletin clean and easy to use on iphone/android/nokia http://forum.grasscity.com/general-...er-side-iphone-android-nokia-application.html
hehe, in my opinion iphones are waaay simpler and more fun. a bunchhh of people i know have an iphone. Butt, i prefer my Samsung Jack. i think this is a good idea.
yeah but dude, constantly pinching and zooming while high is not the most fun exercise ever.. download "tapatalk" (the free version) and pick a random forum (Grasscity is not supported yet) and check the clean interface.
I have an N97(which i'm on now) and quick reply is the only way i can write while on it. If i click reply the text box comes up in blue, my text is all capitalised and when i click post it says the message is too short. Ie thinks i haven't wrote anything. Strange...
My issue (android 1.6, HTC Desire AKA Droid Eris) is that I'll never know if it posted or not.. initially I thought it had to do with the autorefresh, but it's not the case... It works well enough for me to occupy myself on the rail home
I wish that they had one. I would use it all the time, it's annoying zooming in and all that everytime I look on Safari.
Do cell phones not make things easy enough? Do you really need an app so you can push a few less buttons? We slowly get lazier and lazier..
hence the concept of a lot of the applications.. bank of america's app is easier to pull up on the go and check my balance, transit apps make it easier to find rail schedules. All of these could be looked up on the mobile browser, but that defeats the purpose of developing for the platform
if you go by that logic we would still be in caves hunting antelope. lol. but seriously, i was actually interested in why GC hadn't made an app and sell it for like 99cents. i'm sure it would make some pretty decent money if they integrated the right features.
Yea if you take it and drag it overboard lol. I'm not saying we should be cavemen...just saying we should be happy with how easy things are and quit constantly trying to make them easier. Extreme heat and extreme cold are bad..you want a luke warm. You want things to be easy but not so easy you turn into a blob who throws a hissy fit when the drive threw is too slow...it's a mother fucking drive threw..be thankful. I feel like I'm proving a point that's already been proven..I mean walk outside and take a look around. Maybe it's just my area..but Texas has a lot of fat fucks. They could use a few extra steps when trying to accomplish things haha I really shouldn't complain though. Thanks to my states uh.."population"...we have a badass mexican food restaurant damn near every 100ft that will give you 5lbs of food for $4.99. And I loves me some mexican plates..especially after a few drinks.
