I keep seeing these chickenshit banners all over wikipedia asking for donations as if it's some sort of charity. of course, the lemmings oblige every year so the website pulls in millions of dollars in donations.

how much could it possibly cost to run a website that is edited by the public? i can't believe the racket they got going, this is the biggest scam of the century.

here's one of the shit banners, really makes me wanna give them my money.

  3. Considering the amount of content, and the amount of bandwidth it takes to run one of the biggest websites in the world. I would easily say millions of dollars on the servers alone...

  4. It's like all the tards who used to bitch paying $15 a month to play WoW.. Probably around 11 million people all paying in $15 a month = $165M. But they don't realize all the shit that it takes to keep that game running is a pretty fucking hefty bill.

  5. Not to mention maintenance and administration.

  6. Why do you keep posting these threads?

  7. There are no ads to support the site. They need revenue from something.

  8. Because they can't file for welfare
