Why does this happen?

    Why can't weed grow in a vase of water without light the way flowers and stuff can

    flowers dont grow in a vase....the water keeps the flowers alive for a few days. you can put a pot leaf in a glass of water and it will do the same thing. for it to GROW it needs roots and the roots need darkness.

    Oh how fun it would be to just drop a seed in a vase of water and have no interaction with the plant what so ever.

    I personally wish there was more to it. I wish it was a requirement to talk to your plants, then maybe I wouldn't look so "crazy"

    I know it won't grow nice and big even if it could but it be cool to have a nice bouquet fan leaves
