why does the government not want us to get high?

    I think that they realize when people smoke weed they tend to think "outside" the box.

    that's bad for them because the government wants us to be mindless sheep basically.

    i think its because they dont wanna release inmates that have been arrested for possession of the herb.

    i don't believe this anti-establishment thing. the government doesn't want to decriminalize it because politicians have grown up believing that substances that make you feel good and are illegal are morally bad. that is ingrained into their psyche young in life and then when they become politicians they oppose the entire issue. i believe though that one day humanity will look back at our era and ask, "you mean people were being killed and jailed over a substance that causes no harm and makes you feel amazing?" just like how we look back at how stupid the courts were during the Salem with trials. hopefully this day comes soon.

    These morons in government invest their money in Big Pharma. They don't give a freaking crap about anyone getting high.

    They know full well that the CIA is smuggling hard drugs in to the country so that they can fund their covert operations against third world nations that enrich the bankers. :mad:

    I honestly don't think Ron Paul will even be able to dissolve the CIA. That shits basically above the law. See where i'm going with this?

    Maybe its because when people get high they tend to laugh at the government propaganda? :)
