why does pot smoke sting my lips when i smoke?

    i just got a new bowl. and i noticed that when i take a big hit, the smoke moving across my lips make them have a very stinging sensation.

    i hope that made since.

    I think your pipe just conducts heat well and cools quickly. Mine does the same and that's my guess.
