Why does my weed smell like this?

    Well I got a big ass nug for 40 dollars and it smells like hay ? Why does it smell like that? Is there a way to like fix that? I heard to put it in a jar for like a week and open it for 20 minutes a day . HELP ME! Thanks

    Its dense and realllyy sticky. Im storing it in a pill bottle. It smells like straight up hay.

    Different kind of weed smells differently.. that's pretty much all there is to it.

    I wouldn't be too worried 'bout it.. unless it's dank. :laughing: How does it taste? I'd be more concerned about that than the smell.

    EDIT: Reading the OP again, it sounds like you're trying to prepare the weed for a competition or something. It's weed, man. Just smoke and relax. No need to fret about how the shit smells.

    You may want to cure it for a bit.

    What you need is a small mason jar(the kind with the 2 part lid, DO NOT use any other type of jar) that you have thoroughly cleaned out AND make sure to let all the parts air dry COMPLETELY because small traces of moisture in an airtight container like that can inhibit growth of mold and fungus.

    Keep the jar sealed up and open it for a few minutes a couple of times each day.
