i just got my 400w hps light the other day, i set it about 2 ft above my plants (4 plants: 1 ice, other 3 mystery bagseed) well it started to burn only the ice plant. so i moved the ice plant away till i found an answer(well no good answers) so i moved my light to a different spot(so i can raise the light higher) this time i put the light about 3ft above my plants....and again it only burns my ice (why???) so i moved it up to about 3 1/2 ft why does the light only seem to burn only 1 of my plants??(it's also the plant that has been flowering the most) and i've read that other's have there light only 1ft above the plants and there's are doing ok. please help!!!
yeah i plan on going to homie-cheapo aka home depot tomorrow. but why would only 1 plant be bothered by the light?
How do you know it's the light burning the plant? What about pH, nutes, watering, and whatnot? That does seem weird....TOO weird...I'd bet money it's not the light.
well i think it's the light thats burning because as of now thats the only thing i've changed (still feeding everyplant the same water and nutes) and it only happens on 1 of my plants
wow the temp was 98f!!! with the hps light on, so i switched back to the cfl's and got the temp down to 78f i have 2 fans going. im thinking of turning the fans up to a higher speed and have them blow towards the light....so it should get cooler...i hope?
