Why do you think they are they bombing ‘demolishing’ cities in Ukraine?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by letsmokeasweet, May 6, 2023.

  1. let’s start another discussion:

Do you think they are leveling all of these cities in Ukraine just to randomly bomb them or is there is ulterior motive?

My crazy idea is so they will have to rebuild the cities and when they do, they will be ‘smart cities’. Paid for and ‘funded’ by the USA and the globalist society.

Randomly bomb or ulterior motive? It's a war, do you not understand what war is? So many people have suffered, and died during this lawless invasion of a nuclear disarmed country. You're acting like it's a game, very disrespectful to the countless human lives that have been destroyed during Putin's invasion.

  3. If Zelensky wasn't a globalist zionist puppet, Ukraine would've been peacefully taken by Russia. Zelensky wants to be a war tyrant too and fight to the death at the cost of his own people. Zelensky mostly responsible for all the fallen Ukrainians. Nato and U.S. is responsible for sending weapons over to kill people. They'd rather fight Russia to the death than accept they're up against a country 100x their size and is battle that CANT be won and isn't WORTH fighting for.

  5. great question
reason is that the untied states has been doing research there for decades , hush hush of course
the russians want all the results of that research , so they fight the untied states hush hush again
the war isnt with the ukraine people , the war is actully our war that hasnt been declared by congress , same thing happened of vietnam .
the reason why is russia knows the weak link is in the white house now and they are acting upon it now and before the USA over throw the dummy in the seat and a real warrior take over, not even a thought of harris but there will be a change.
they want those facilities before we act.
russia and china are both using this war to become the super power

  6. In February 2023, over 90 percent of the Ukrainian population approved of the activities of Volodymyr Zelensky as the president of the country. The approval rating was at approximately the same level as in June 2022. Zelensky's popularity within the country was significantly higher in 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, than in 2021.

Why in the world would Ukraine want to be a part of Russia. They nogitiated a seperation in 1994 to disband from Ukraine. They do not want to be taken over by a former KGB agent.
    Russia is anything but peaceful.
Putin is a lying, murdering thug, who needs to go to the Hague, and be prosecuted for war crimes. He just got warned by South Africa if he comes there, he will be arrested. There is a worldwide arrest warrant for the murderer.

  7. If Ukraine doesn't want to fight, than why are they fighting? Russia believes Ukraine belongs to them. Ukrainians ARE Russian with a different name, they come from the same blood and people.

  8. What ever Ukraine wants matters very little when a country 100x their size wants to take them and are of the same blood and people. Should the whole world fight Russia over a little country? The U.S. is overstepping their boundaries. You don't see Russia attacking us at our door step in Canada. Why is it okay for the U.S. to attack everyone at their doorstep? China is going to take Taiwan soon too, should we be fighting China and Russia at the same time? Just like with the Vietnam war and Middle East war, they want you to think we have good reason to be there, we absolutely do not.

Budapest Memorandum specifically states Ukraine doesn't belong to them.

The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Convention Center with US Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendance,[3] prohibited the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, "except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations

  10. Ukraine does want to fight for their freedom, and over 90% of the Ukranian people support Zelensky, and what he is doing on the war frot.

Russia gave up the right to Ukraine in 1991. They signed a treat dude. Sinple as that. Russia has no legal right to Ukraine. As in ZERO. They negotiated a deal. And in 1994 Russia signed the Budapest Agreement, along with Ukraine to give up their nukes. Ukraine was the 3 most powerful nuclear country in 1994, and before.

Putin wants to reunite the former Soviet Union, and if he wins Ukraine, it will embolden him to invade other former Soviet Block Countries.

Aug. 28, 1991: Russia recognizes Ukrainian independence
KIEV, USSR — The government of the Russian republic recognized the right of Ukraine to independence Wednesday, speeding up the political disintegration of the Soviet Union.
In a communique that referred to “the former union,” the two largest of the 15 Soviet republics agreed they will become “sovereign and independent states” and said they will set up “temporary structures” to bridge the gap between the present centralized Soviet government and independent states.

In the independence referendum on 1 December 1991, the people of Ukraine expressed deep and widespread support for the Act of Declaration of Independence, with more than 90% voting in favor, and 84% of the electorate participating. The referendum took place on the same day as Ukraine's first direct presidential election; all six presidential candidates supported independence and campaigned for a "yes" vote. The referendum's passage ended any realistic chance of the Soviet Union remaining together even on a limited scale; Ukraine had long been second only to Russia in economic and political power in the USSR.

A week after the election, newly elected president Leonid Kravchuk joined his Russian and Belarusian counterparts (Boris Yeltsin and Stanislav Shushkevich, respectively) in signing the Belovezh Accords, which declared that the Soviet Union had ceased to exist. The Soviet Union officially dissolved on 26 December.

Since 1992, the 24th of August is celebrated in Ukraine as Independence Day.

    International recognition[edit]

Poland and Canada were the first countries to recognize Ukraine's independence, both on 2 December 1991. On the same day (2 December) it was reported during the late-evening airing of the television news program Vesti that the President of the Russian SFSR, Boris Yeltsin, had recognized Ukraine's independence.

The United States did so on 25 December 1991. That month the independence of Ukraine was recognized by 68 states, and in 1992 it was recognized by another 64 states.

In January 1992, U.S. President George H. W. Bush approved a program of American humanitarian support for Ukraine and the rest of the former USSR, supervised by the Secretary of Defense.

By the end of 1991 there was widespread international recognition.

Russia has no legal right, or standing for invading Ukraine. And when it was voted on 32 years ago, by the Ukranian people, over 90% voted to leave the Soviet Union, and this was also with 84% of Voter Turnout.

Putin is a war criminal, and should stand trial. And be publicly hanged, if shown to be guilty.

  11. Every US & British leader over the last 30 years should face justice as well so following that logic.
Instead here in the West we treat them like heroes.

    Pure and utter hypocrisy.

  13. Yes they should stop Putin. And you know Putin is threatening to nuke United Kingdom. Putin is a threat to all of Europe.

They said the same thing during WW2. At first nothing was done. The whole world should go after POutin, with full force. And 48 countries have supplied Ukraine with money, and weapons.
If Putin wins Ukraine, hes going to invade someone else next. And if invades a NATO country, he will be fucked then.

But you carryon with your feigned outrage while ignoring the US & British warmongering.

  15. I doubt Russia is demolishing the Ukrainian infrastructure so the US will build them smart cities but I've also wondered what will happen after it's over. If everything goes Putin's way and he takes the whole country then what is his plan, rebuild the country? It'll be his country, he can't simply leave it rubble and the West isn't going to rebuild it for him.

I have no clue about wtf's going on over there and with how lies and war go together, I doubt if any of us know but I'm not going to fall for the domino theory again. Fighting a war to prevent a war never seems to work out and if Biden had anything to do with blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline he made us one of the bad guys.

  16. I think the destruction we are seeing in Ukraine is as simple as Russia is fighting an Heavily entrenched, determined and resilient enemy.

  17. the “conflict” between Russia and Ukraine started in 2014, in the area known as the Donbass. Russia’ s military doctrine is focused on winning and to achieve that end they simply destroy everything that could be useful to their enemy. It should be noted that Russia is credited with ‘victory’ in every armed conflict they’ve been a part of since the start of the 20th century. the one exception is Chechnya in which they ‘lost’. I think (without verifying) that every one of those ‘conflicts’ were won by massive artillery and rocket fire destroying everything in their path.

the IMF is already lining up contractors and money for rebuilding the destruction. kind of like Halliburton and the non-declared Afghan/Iraq non-war, wars. but to your question, that’s russia’s military doctrine. not for nothing but Russia has exhausted ukraines’s military by using the Wagner Group. there’s at least 400,000 Russian troops ready to march through the rubble.

on a conventional war basis Russia is going to win this war of attrition.

Better do some more research on that.

Between 1922-1953 Stalin killed at least 20 Million people.

Joseph Stalin was responsible for the deaths of at least 20 million people during his rule. Many estimates are higher.

Wagner group is going to pull out on May 10th.

  20. The US is blowing shit up with drones all over the world, Somalia, Yemen, Afganistan, and Syria. Obama blew up a wedding procession, and who can forget Biden's revenge for his Afghan withdrawal debacle, he blew up a family in a car with waterbottles in the trunk. I doubt you will see anything about it on MSNBC. The ongoing war on terror gives presidents far too much power, any and all warmongering should require congressional approval.
