Is it because he knows his limitations and picks a vice-presidential nominee to balance them out?
Is it because he speaks beautifully and eloquently?
Is it because what he says inspires you?
Is it because you are scared of the alternative (McCain)?
Is it because you just vote Democrat?
Is it because you feel Obama's foreign policy is good?
Is it because you see Obama is well-liked around the world?
Is it because you see him as opposite to Bush?
Is it because you trust him more than McCain?
Is it because you have seen/met him in person?
Is it because of his life story and/or background?
Is it because he is a Christian?
Is it because you feel he brings people together?
Is it because you like his subtlety, his emotional appeals, or his logical arguments?
Is it because you consider him to be "different"?
Is it because McCain's ads repulse you?
Is it because he doesn't think being rich is earning more than $4.999999 million a year?
Is it because you want more renewable energy?
Is it because your financial state is poor?
Is it because you think everyone should have healthcare?
Is it because he gives you a sense of false hope and a fresh look at doomsday?
Is it because he says he's going to change Washington and you like this idea of "change"?

What is it that compels you to support Barack Obama for President this year?

  2. Hey, man, where you been?

Oh I see, out polishing the new soapbox! :D

Sir, do you feel these may be slightly slanted questions? As your caddie, I'm sensing a little roll to the left of the green.

  3. As a supporter, I can't deny. :) Just asking my fellow supporters what they think. Feel free to critique my suggestions, not all of which I agree with.

Basically, I can't hide my bias. Nor would I want to, because this is bkadoctaj talking. :p

And I was out of town for two weeks. I missed you guys. :)

  4. Because he gives me a sense of false hope and is helping to bring a fresh face to doomsday.

  5. I knew I was forgetting a big one... At least that one makes this all seem less biased. I'll edit it in.

Out of the reasons you posted, all of these.

  9. You realize I was joking, right?

  10. It was a valid statement :)

  11. what's up dude! Long time no see :)

just out of curiosity, are these the reasons that you like Barak, or just a general list of items?

  12. Actually, the first and last are my real views. :)

And... hey yo! :) I missed everyone!!

  13. Because I watched John McCain and company sell Arizona out to the highest bidder for 20+ years, and saw the quality of life in the state I was born in, as it went from poor to dismal, while he worked backroom deals for his friends, like Charles Keating, and Kemper Marley, and his core of supporters, while ignoring the rest of his constituency. He has virtually ignored the needs of his State's Natives, and working class, to the point where they may as well not exist, they have no spokesman.

I think that Barack Obama has shown a willingness to work with others and to re-establish an old custom called getting together for the common good.

And what cute little dimples he has!

Don't forget that he is also an elitist and the new anti-christ.

Fuck it, Im still voting for him.

  15. He's also very handsome.

Bka, aren't you a libertarian? Or is that someone (okay, everyone) else?

  16. Handsome? Thats a reason to vote for someone? What, are you a teenage girl?

  17. Why do you think I supported Clinton? Why do you think my least favorite president was Van Buren? Looks are everything. It shows how much god loves the candidate.

    P.S. joke.

  18. Well then fuck you should be all over Palin if she ran for President.

    :D

  19. LOL, Its cool, didn't mean to offend.

  20. Oh I will be, it's just... Have you seen McCain's face? There are literally things growing inside of his cheeks. Palin doesn't pull the ticket up enough unfortunately.
