its my favorite season. now im in arkansas so that REALLY sucks, hardly wintery here...an inch of snow the whole state shuts fown. just moved here from jersey though, where we gota shit ton of snow. my favorite part is being in midtown manhattan [theater district actually] at night with snow falling during christmas...the lights, the snow, the cozy warmth of your jacket but still feeling the chilly bite, damn everything about it. window shopping...iits heaven. i love the city lights at night. driving is fun but walking through manhattan that time of year is the best. i miss it so much. you have no idea. anyways your fav part?
The beginning and end. After a scortching summer of temps hovering around 100, its nice to have a cool down but I get sick of it quick. I have Chicago to thank for that. I can stand it if it snows, but I have only seen it snow maybe 3 times tops here
The chicago winters are brutally cold and usually come with quite a bit of snow. My neck of the woods is pretty quiet at night, so I enjoy long blunt walks when the snow is falling. Seems so peaceful.
by far YES, SNOWBOARDING!!!! it is easier to stay warm then cool, i can only take off so much before the man is after me snow fall is just amazing, whether a blizzard or light dusting, i find so much peace sitting and watching snow fall, although its not the same if your inside and not to mention, snowfall means winter, which means hockey and football are in session! P.S i must inquire as to why a person from chicago would rock a fucking packtard avatar, must have lost a bet
Snowboarding, snowmobiling, hot chocolate after coming inside, snowflakes. I always thought it must suck to be one of those people who hate winter. It's like they only enjoy their life during warm weather. Luckily I get to enjoy 4 seasons instead of 1 like some places and enjoy the hell out of it.
love being cold as shit and smokin a fat bowl then hitin up a skatepark. i live in texas so the winters are really mild but great!! cant beat skating without sweating
haha yeah it freezes some times lol..it snowed 2ins last year where i live and a foot on galveston island so my fingers are crossed for more this year
I love when I am inside my warm apartment blazing my face off and it starts to snow. So trippy and neat looking
ice fishing, ice races, and less traffic on the road. i love driving in the winter, what with all the snow and ice and slush. as a driver you have two sets of driving skills - those you use in the winter, and those you use in spring, summer, and fall.
I'll be honest I'm a total winter wimp, at night in winter my joints get all stiff and I'm shaking and shit. and I live in texas, imagine actual cold? so yeah winter sucks imo i can take the heat like nobodies business though
I seem to be able to take cold more than the average person, and I live in Winterpeg Canada lol. Me and my buddy were the only ones not wearing sweaters at a bonfire we had tonight. Such a great gift, unless I just got used to it over the years.
I have mixed feelings about winter. I love wearing my jacket and some sweatpants and be at the comfortable temperature of just on the fringe of coldness. Fall/Winter is my favorite smoking weather. The only thing I have to complain about is my bic wont work when the flints too cold!
Favorite part: Skiing Least Favorite part: waking up and the shower Yeah. I love me some skiing. Can't beat that. I love the wood smokey smell the air always carries in the winter. I love feeling warm inside my clothes, wearing my ski pants like normal pants (North Face Freedoms), with my fleece hat and poofy coat, and often 2 hoodies. I get cold easily and I love to feel toasty. Sometimes when it was snowy I'd wear my ski goggles when I had to walk around outside. I love being out in the harsh elements in comfort because I have the right gear. It's a great feeling. I hate waking up in the morning and getting into the shower. My body just isn't producing much heat at that time, and both my room and bathrooms are heated very poorly. All I can do is just huddle under the water until I have to get out, and that just sucks. I have this heater fan I crouch in front of when I get into my room to dry myself off. If I didn't have that I'd freakin die of hypothermia. In the hot summer, it's great. I turn on the window fan to high, sucking out all the steam but keeping the room at like 80+ or whatever it is inside the house with the AC off. Perfect temp to dry off.
