how come when you grow outdoors, you get a better yield? is it because of the suns light? or is it because the infinite amount of space you have. i'm thinking about growing indoors because i like to be in control of my grow, but i want to know if theirs a way i can change the grow room to where i can get just as good as a grow indoors as i would outdoors.
plants outdoors usually have an infinite space to grow as well as the fact that most people veg indoors for a month or two versus outdoors if you plant in april or may you have 3 or 4 months of veg time allowing the plant to get bigger thus giving off a better yield.
makes sense. thank you. i guess the difference between a 1000 watt hps and the sun isn't really a factor, because they both affect the plant the same basically?
No way could I begin to give my ladies the same light intensity that they get from the sun using HPS or whatever. And it would cost me a fortune trying. Remember, it is LIGHT that makes all plant tissues. This is why outdoor growers can easily get a pound a plant without too much trouble. I grow in buckets, and certainly the bigger the bucket, the bigger the yield; bigger the roots, the bigger the shoots ! I now use 50 litre buckets, I can´t move much bigger. But if I were to grow in one of my containers indoors I would never get a pound a plant, just wouldn´t get the light intensity.
simple mate.......................more time growing your 2nd question, well how bigs your grow room? peace
