They love kush! It's often mentioned in songs. Why kush instead of sativas? And does this mean that black people in general prefer kush? Sorry if that sounds bad but hey they mostly black so yeah just curious.
Why would all black people like kush just because rappers rap about it? Do all white people like pumpkin spice latte and Uggs?
Why do rappers wear pants with their butt hanging out? Why do rappers use "yo" every other word? Why do rappers talk shit on women and call them hoes/bitches, thinking it makes them a big man? Why do rappers glorify violence amongst themselves and others? Why do rappers make up words just so they have a word that rhymes? Why do rappers that grew up in suburbia living a nice life, lie so they can pretend to have been brought up in the ghetto? The list goes on and on Who knows why rappers do what rappers do...
The same reason anybody famous talks about anything.....Because it's trendy. Sheep follow other sheep.
Because they don't want to be confused with a hipster by wearing their sister's jeans. It's a tribute to the bad guy, Razor Ramon, chico. For the same reason they refer to themselves as "dawgs". Because it creates an image that sells records. Because they're supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. See answer #4.
I believe it's more region specific, some say Chronic, AK, or Dro(hydro), and so on. Kush is specific to West Coast rappers I think.
On the west coast they're all about kush. A kush high is relaxing but doesn't make you totally worthless. I like it
That's a good point. West Coast rappers typically refer to kush. A lot of Southern rappers talk about dro.
I'd say if it was intentional, then yeah, it would definitely be considered offensive. I'm giving you an out here. I suggest you take it and save some face.
because it rhymes well with bush, and mush and tush, duh... you ever try and find something that rhymes with gorilla glue number 4?
I don't apologize to people who are easily offended. I ask them to suck it up and grow a pair. If I wanted to offend, oh man I can do that. I'm here for smiles though. Please be offended somewhere else
it has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with lack of intelligence. Rappers cannot think past doctor suess and a drumbeat.
If anyone wanted to offend they could. People generally don't because there's a concept called common decency, not to be confused with being easily offended.
