Why do my clone almost die when I plant them.

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by BiggFunkNugg, Aug 6, 2007.

  1. Whenever I transplant clones they get all dry, brown, the hairs on them shrivel up and then they usually die. Sometimes I can regenerate them with some TLC but even then it adds weeks to the cloning process. This time I believe heat could have been a major factor but it always happens even when I have great temperatures. Are my clones not mature enough? Is my 600w HPS light too intense? What's going on here?

  2. Wow amazing video Ganja! +Rep for sure. I just decided today that I was going to take 4 clones from a mother I have going outside and grow it indoors and this video was the perfect thing for me!
    THANKS SO MUCH!:hello:

  3. great ganga.... anymore of these educational videos ganga please???

  4. what do you want to see nenu

  5. anything that can teach me more to grow better with less problems ganga...

  6. Personally I'd love to see a few different how-to videos.

Perhaps one that shows the germination process (or a few different ones).

One on proper flushing techniques for sure.

You know what, we should band together as a community and begin making educational videos and perhaps create a new part of the forums where each thread revolves around a different educational video. Maybe we'll even vote on which video we think is the best that should be used to cover each individual part of growing all the way from germination to diagnosing and solving plant illness all the way to harvesting.

I gotta head out to see the Simpson's movie (I haven't seen it yet, d'oh!), but maybe you guys can toss around some ideas, and if it seems to be taken well (I'm sure it will have some positive feedback) perhaps we can bring it up to the admins and see what we can get rolling.

In the mean time, I think I'm going to look into some camera's. Even if I don't have all the knowledge to make an educational video, I'd still love to participate where in the places that I do know a lot about.

Thanks ganja, keep up the good work!

  7. you can make decent enough video clips with a $30.00 webcam I have the bandwidth to stream the videos as I have with the cloning video clip
so if you want to make a video Ill host it till its gets bumped by a better one

flushing does seem to be a mystery to some......ill poison a plant with ferts & make a clip of completeing a runoff test, & then flush

  8. +rep top bloke. makes it clear as day i might it a go with cuttings soon.
