How long have u been curing them? On the stem they stink, then off they smell like hay (drying etc). Then curing is where the smell comes our. mason jars are best for me anyway. Open everyday or so for 20 minutes and close back up. 2 to 3 weeks works best. Smoke em too early and u get nasty taste and smell.
My stuff always smells like hay till after some curing. Its like any plant material..cut grass, cut bushes..they all have that smell.
It's from the chlorophyl in the buds dying, after about a week it will all be died off and the sub colors like purp will come out more cuz no green is covering it, and the fruitiness will really pop
