Why do I spit when I smoke?

OMG YES, whenever I take either a really big hit of either a vape, bong, pipe, I get a shit ton of saliva and it just keeps recuperating hahaha. Shits gross..

happens to me too. and the spit always taste like bong water so its pretty nasty

 

i do it alot to not that it taste bad or anything, it just feels natural to me to spit after a decent toke

 

Smoke inside where you can't spit .

 

Pretty sure it happens because the hits you're taking are uncomfortably hot and your body is trying to ease that burn.

 

LOL! thats kinda funny cause i noticed how when ever i blaze now this seems to happen sometimes its actually like =o and then sometimes its just a bit of little bit of watery spit or some something haha

but it doesn't happen when i vape =o

 

It's because weed is an expellant. I actually like spitting. I feel like that brown shit isn't too good to have inside of you so getting it out is the wiser option in my opinion. I feel so much better after getting a nice one out.

 

Just keep some water to wash it down with.

always unless i got some really smooth buds that smoke way above average

 

hits are harsh because they're dry, not because they're hot

 

I notice this when I smoke my buds too early before they have had a good enough time to cure. The taste is off and it's harsh and it makes me salivate a lot. When it's cured it's not usually that big of an issue.

Ur spit shouldn't be brown unless u got a lip of Copenhagen straight like me in

 

i have a theory that you get cotton mouth it's because you worked your mouth so much (i get the same thing) and you just have no more spit

I find if it's a harsh hit on a piece I'll drool, but I'm the UK and the custom here is smoking spliffs. I think it's some shit in the tobacco that makes me spit, but I'm almost certain it's a learned reaction. I never used to that much then I got pretty gross and just used to spitting, now I can't take a hit without my mouth filling with saliva.

 

I notice this with cigarettes more so. I usually have cotton mouth when I smoke weed though.
