here's an updated picture of them. it looks like 3 or 4 of them might make it, but definitely not the other 3. though the cuttings are looking a little better there still isnt any signs of roots, but i dont think its been a week yet. the rooting hormone that i use is called "root-gel." thanks for everyone's help. I think im gonna invest in a heat pad thing.....
Somewhere on here is a good video about cloning and according to the video maker you should have your soil like wet mud and trim the tops off of all the leaves so there aint too much weight on the new stems .
I can't remember whether this was in a Greg Green book or Cervantes but the book said that hormones that cause rooting and the development of new root cells are more highly concentrated in the lower part of the plant, so cuttings from the lower part of the plant will be easier to root.
cloning is easy & I get 100% survival rate every time, all you have to do to get fully rooted clones in 10 days is, -soak cubes in a solution of Vita-Max + Hygrozyme for 1 day prior, -cut clones, & use liquid rooting hormone, -replace solution with fresh solution every day for the first 4 days leaving about 1 cm in bottom of tray, -keep dome on for for whole process, lift daily & blow in a breath of fresh air -most importantly......you must keep the cubes @ a slightly higher temp then the temp of the air surrounding the canopy, to achieve this you should get a cardboard box about the size of the tray, lay it on its side & place a lamp inside as a heat source, then all you have to do is place your tray on top. do these things & you too can have perfect clones that experience virtually no stress & take off as soon as transplanted!
