Why can't you delete old threads you made?

  1. What's the reason this was added? I tried to delete one today and couldn't. Do you have to message a mod to do it for you now?

  2. Yes, you now only have 7 days to delete or edit any thread you made. It was something Superjoint added.

  3. Because you guys would be the first to complain if someone deleted their thread and you lost 1000 posts. :p :poke:

If you need or want a thread deleted please report it. :)

  4. The 7 day editing limit was put into place to maintain the integrity of the Grasscity Community and it's forums. It was originally there and was increased so a few threads could be updated and wasn't decreased to it's original time so SJ put it back into place recently.

Per the terms and conditions, you agree that the material submitted or made available by you will not be treated as confidential or proprietary. Therefore, you can report a thread and request it's deletion but that doesn't guarantee deletion of the thread.

That is why it is so very important that you are sure that what you post is something you really want out there.
