my lady has been flowering for 3-4 weeks now and the many of the hairs are already turning orange. It does not seems like the buds are at all fully mature judging by their size and by the amount of time that they have been in the flowering cycle. Just wondering if anybody had any idea what might be happening here, any info would be greatly appreciated.
Most newer growers have heard the rumor that he dank is done when all the hairs have turned orange.... Not true. Some strains sprout hairs much quicker then others and theses hairs mature at a faster rate then the trichomes. Some hairs will continue to darken becomeing red , Burgandy, or purple. Do not judge the readiness of your dank by hair color, just wait 30 days longer and you should have a ripe crop of flowers.
The hairs also can change from white to orange/brown/etc due in part to grow conditions such as heat and humidity.
