Why Are My Resin Highs Better Than My Weed Highs?

i think that if you are to the point where you are smoking resin, then you likely have no flowers or have not for some time. therefore, your tolerance would be lower thus making it seem like its a better high

I agree. Your tolerance is probably low. Go pick up some nice crystally buds and see if it makes a difference.

 

Also, you're actually not getting higher, the effect is due to more brain cells being killed from lack of oxygen from smoking what is basically tar.  There's very very little active compounds left in resin.  It's mostly just gunk.

 

Resin doesn't get someone higher than bud does no matter what. 

 

I have to disagree, why would smoking tar be any different than smoking something else? Non-resin smoke â‰  Oxygen. Cigarettes contain carbon monoxide yet you don't see anyone feeling high because "lack of oxygen". 

 

Is resin slightly more concentrated?

 

I agree, any one who says resin has no thc and/or doesn't get you high is mis informed, it definitely gets you high. However I haven't smoked it in years and find it gross, but I'm not blinded to the fact that it works

Yeah it gets you a little high because some of the THC in the smoke sticks to the tar. And its not resin, its disgusting, filthy, carcinogenic tar. If anybody ever gets cancer from smoking weed I guarantee they smoked tar.

 

Or you just simply enjoy the sleepy night time high associated with Black Death. Sure resin may not be the best option but it happens, always has and always will.

 

I hate resin.. getting high  off resin is only like 5% as good as bud IMO, and it's gross and the taste is like shit.. when you light it with a lighter it gets all wet and runny and clogs your bowl.. unless it's really dry I suppose..

resin highs from what i remember is they come on pretty strong. but fade hella quickly, usually only high like 20 minutes tops

 

Its more harsh. You cough more and you feel like you get higher body wise.

I get faded off a pinch of resin, but then I pack another bowl and get blown into the universe.

 

I've always thought resin gives me a more "sleepy" high; closely resembling that of an indica high even if it was a sativa or sativa dominant hybrid to begin with. 
 
In that context, I suppose you could argue that resin leaves you feeling higher due to the fact that the indica high is more noticeable and is a bodily high vs. a sativas which is more of a heady, cerebral high.
