hi some of my plants, 3 weeks into flowering, are going yellow at the tips, generally at the top of the plant and im wondering why. can anyone help please?
erm, yeah, i think so... i thought it might be the light so i raised it a couple of inches just before taking the pic. the plants are under a 600W and it was about 1ft away from the top of the plants... its now nearer 1.5ft away from the top of the plants... it is only happening on the top leaves too...
Yep, take it up to 18", should be fine then. Try to get a fan blowing across the canopy under the light too, that will help reduce the hotspot.
im not sure it is burning from the light...ive had light burn before and this looks different. heres some more info just in case its not. they are being fed canna terra flores and are in soil. they are on day 24 flowering and have been fed twice with canna flores at 3/4 strength and a couple of times canna vega at 1/2 strength. thanks
That's my guess, it's definitely what it looks like considering it's shaped like a circle and not all of the plant is effected. Leaf tips pointing down too, just a guess though. Plus, if it was 1 foot from the top I'd say that is pretty damn close with a 600, I burned my tops with an air-cooled (not premium or anything, still some heat coming off) 600 1 foot away.
I think you have lite burn and a potassium def 1. hydro, soilless or Soil & brand name of soil ? 2. PH of reservoir solution? 3. PH soil runoff? 4. PH of water? 5. Age of plants? 6. What Fertilizer, dosages, and frequency? 7. lites, wattage & proximity to plants 8. Light cycle. 24/0,, 18/6,, 12/12? 9. In light cycle how long? 10. Room temps & Humidity or reservoir temps
80 degs F, humidity in the 40s im wondering if my ph was too low at 6.4... i raised it to 6.6 a couple of days ago...
