the leaf tips turn a black brown color and then below the black is some yellowing. I'm only using fox farms ocean forest with no nutrients. This is only happening to my sour diesel clones. My mazar clone is in the same soil and looks perfect.
where do I get phosphorus from? If I add something like tiger bloom i think it'll overfertilize because there is still nutrients in the soil.
Nutrient burn is worried about far more often than it actually happens. Every flowering plant should experience some little bit of fertilier burn before harvest. If you havest without burning even the lowest and oldest leaves, then you could have fed the plant more and produced a larger yield. Your plant there isn't going to be burnt by any normal dose of high-P fertilizer, because it needs some. When feeding, focus on not giving the plant too much N and it should make use of everything else. The Tiger is a good source of P. High-P Bat & Seabird Guanos are also excellent sources and help microbial life in the soil. Bone Meal is a strong source of P, Ca, Fe and others.
another thing is that my clones all started to pop flowers outdoors a week ago after being outside since may. Will they go back into veg? I'm in san diego. Also would giving it tiger bloom encourage flowering? I'm wanting to get the plants back into veg so I can do a normal october harvest.
Fan leaves will die anyways but those like nute burn bro. Cut down on the nutrients. I would check the ph also because the burn could be due to the over 7'. As a a grower of a lifetime it looks like a little nute burn. Really no harm. It looks like its going to be a nice indica indeed your plant.
my plant started flowering in july now the leaves are starting to yellow buds are real sticky and smelly. How close do you think i am to harvet
Giving that you arent feeding any nutrients, I would guess that nute burn would be a slim possibility. It looks about like mine when I thought I had nute burn. Turned out my problem was a nute deficiency. It will start out yellowing on the leaf tips like burn with some spotting as well. I would feed them at about 1/4 strength and see what happens.
