Why are Lumbricus terrestris not suitable ?

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by 2cent420, Oct 17, 2023.

  1. Says on here there not suitable for vermi but all I can find is that they like deep burrows nothing bad like some species that feed on humus, these known as lobs are said to pull leaf litter down deep and are responsible to keeping base of pots or soil airated deep
They don’t like to be disturbed but in notill that’s ok, even in sip if I remixed a bag I could add em in to start again right ? Not like it’s animal cruelty ?

  2. They are a deep dwelling worm species. 5-7 feet deep. They only come to the surface to mate and eat. I also believe our grow rooms are on the high side of their temperature range.
