what most people say but it is weird people still live there! other than be in las vegas i just don't understand what they might do i mean, i go and ride my bike and mountain bike and kayak and just do all sorts of out door stuff but vegas like uhhhhhhhhhhhh uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Haha Eric 805, I live in the 805 as well! I also had a buddy transfer to UNLV (University of Las Vegas) after his first year in college. UNLV accepts after 24 units which can be achieved in a year. My buddy moved to LV to go to UNLV. He didnt end up graduating, but he likes it alot. He was a pretty mellow guy here but not hes tatted up with studs and the whole nine yards. Big diamond on the chest heh. Live and Let Live i say.
i'd wanna visit there but not live there, i've always wanted to do a "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" trip there ha ha
i'm down to visit for a while and snort coke and bang hookers. that's always fun. ya know, now that i think about it, i DO want to live there lol
college makes sense but other than that vegas seems to only appeal to people with the part scene in mind a lot. dunno, guess i'm just not a partier. and always good to see another 805 here dude i loved how Thompson played with his shot-gun microphone. they are so badass! while i was working in a video pro class my teacher brought in his $2,000 shot-gun mic (super nice directional mic) and you point it in a direction and just hear over there. you can point it a couple hundred feet down a hall and hear on a conversation of just a few individuals instead of just a loud hallway; they always interested me what the fuck, that's an awesome article. i never knew seriously; they've just got a bunch of Casinos, dunno- doesn't appeal to me at all
I live in Vegas, and I hate it. Besides the Strip, and other Casinos, there's really not much to do. Strip life doesn't appeal to me, and a lot of the people here are shady.
Live there? Hell no. Id be broke in 5 days, and dead in 10. Vacation there once a year? Hell yea. Theres nothin' better, throw in a trip to the caribbean once every couple of years and your set. Best of both worlds.
With the rising, already high unemployment rate, and the fact that people are darting out of there (getting evicted) like the place is on fire... I'd have to say I wouldn't wanna live there either.
