I was thinking about it and I think that would work better then leaving the lights on for 24 hours because when you grow indoors you need to recreate mother nature and the sun isn't out 24 hours a day right?
Plants don't need rest. 24hr light is fine. If you have heat problems or want to save on your power bill, 18/6 or 20/4 is fine too.
Have you seen DWC hydro growing systems? Nothing about it looks like "mother nature", but it will grow weed twice as fast. Very little of my grow room setup or growing methods look like anything you would find in nature.
I believe they're speaking of the light cycle elements of nature If i'm not mistaken, but I agree it looks nothing like Mother.
