Who knows how to count cards here?

  1. I'm teaching myself to count cards and the method is actually pretty easy. The hard part is just memorizing basic strategy and memorizing the counting method. But with time it will all get much easier. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Any tips or anything?

Also, yes i've seen the movie 21. So all the i'm gonna get the shit kicked out of me comments are not going to change anything.

  2. if i knew, i would not BE here

  3. You should learn. Everyone thinks it some complex thing but it's actually pretty simple. You're essentially adding 1, or subtracting 1, based on the cards you see. It's just basic math. You just have to apply it to the right cards and it will give you good odds to bet high and get a blackjack. I've only been teaching myself for a few days so i'm not ready for the casino yet... but it'll be exciting for when I go.

  4. I failed math bro.

  5. send me the link to the strategy your using. once you get the black jack basics down you can hit up the casino and do alright!

  6. I just watched a bunch of youtube videos of guys explaining it. Just look up "how to count cards in blackjack" and watch a few of the videos and it will give you a good idea of how everything works. But for sure i'm studying a strategy guide and once you learn that your odds go up a lot.

  7. I always thought it was illegal but recently learned it's completely legal, just frowned upon. I may try to learn how to do it, probably not though. I'm terrible with numbers

  8. im terrible at math too but with practice theres nothing that you cant learn! i dont think they can prove your counting cards but if your walking away with alot of money all the time im sure they will just ban you from the casino. milking it is something that needs to be learned as well.

  9. Yeah man it's completely legal. Obviously frowned upon though by the casinos cause it's you winning and not them.

All it is is basic addition. It gets kind of fast but it's not the math portion thats hard it's just being able to see all the cards before they pull them away. That's why it's best to be at a table with just you and the dealer. Less cards to keep track of. But for sure it's not like i'm dropping 10g's haha. I'll just test my methods out at a $5 min table and see how I do and i doubt they'll even suspect anything.

  10. I can barely do basic addition and subtraction, but my mom says I'm smart.
