So who here Knows listen to him. hes an orthodox Jew reggea rapper and he is straight up badass. I'v was recently lucky enough to see matisyahu opening up for 311 it was an awesomeshow at detroits DTE outdoor venue. Smoked a hell of a lot of pot and was able to purchase and eat some shroom from some random dude in the crow. but it was one of the best shows i've ever been too.
i heard his music..he's pretty good...wouldn't have known he was an orthodox jew just by listenin to him though
i liked his first album a lot, not so much the second (youth i think) got to see him twice too, once at a small club before he got popular, it was sick, he got off the stage and danced with us
