There is a difference between Dub and Dubstep

^ When the bass line kicks in, I would have to say its got a dubstep feel to it.

More of a pop/dancehall rhythm to it though.

All the remixes Caspa Ruska and Skream are doing are pretty wack IMO. They need to go back to the days of making experimental tracks and stop doing this poppy bullshit.

Yeah, I hear you man. Caspa & Rusko especially are starting to build a sound that is getting very repetitive. Although I really enjoy their heavy bass lines and remixes, I am always searching for the latest and greatest thing in the dub world.

Well it's mainly an instrumental genre. And, the (good) dubstep bass lines are usually 4 or 8 bar phrases that are actually quite different. But you are entitled to not like it.
