I pre ordered both. I figure I am going to buy them anyways, may as well get them at launch if I can.
None. Grew up a huge Xbox fan, never really liked the playstation, though psp was pretty rad. Xbox one seriously let me down, going to boycott it until they fix things. No interest in the ps4 or the ps exclusives. I like my shooters.
I'll get a PS4 eventually but I tend to avoid consoles at launch to make sure they fix all the glitches first.
I have been a fan of both xbox and playstation for years but turned to pc gaming last year and have to say I like it alot more. I use a 360 control pad so controls are the same but graphics are better and I find that shooters are alot harder. On COD BLOPS I used to be pretty good but I just get shit on when playing on pc.
Doubt they'll fix it man, they're concerned about the all mighty dollar. What makes Xbox a better counsel for shooters? Yeah, because of a bunch of bots. I've seen some SHIT before because of bots lol. I'm not pre ordering either but I'll probably get the PS4. Had a ps2 back in the day, then went to Xbox, then the 360. I'd probably stick with Xbox if it wasn't for all their bull shit they dumped on their system. Maybe I'll grab an Xbox down the road if they change shit or enough friends have it.
I hear you all on the bug fixes. I bought a launch ps3 and 360, and they both died. I got RROD on my original 360 and I got the YLOD on my original fat PS3. I hated that I had to replace those consoles on my dime. So I get why people would wait. I don't know what it is about technology. I must have them all!
Man, I really want to pre-order a PS4, but I'm not sure, Sony has never addressed whether they countered the problem of bad design/overheating for their consoles. I just figured they would've talked about it, considering this has never been an issue until this past generation consoles.
I preordered a launch day ps4. I'm pretty much a pc gamer. My son and I both have xbox 360's. I mainly use mine for netflix and movies through usb. He is the console gamer. The thought of a shortage around xmas time has crossed my mind with hopes of flipping it to buy another and maybe some extra cash. If not then my boy will have a launch day ps4....meh win win.
I only had the PS3 for about 2 years now. Like mentioned, I'm going to enjoy the PS3 for couple more years then get the PS4. By then hopefully everything is fixed and made even better.
I've pre-ordered the PS4 which is a stupid move on my part because I got an Xbox 360 on launch day, and the problems I had with that over the next 4 months made me swear off buying a console on release again. But I'm pretty stupid and don't learn lessons, so there we go. I'm still hyped. I was open to cancel it and get the Xbox One, or just cancel it and not get any, but E3 impressed me so I'm going to keep it. Hopefully it won't have any problems come launch!
Absolutely nothing. Wanna hear some sick exclusive FPS titles for XBOX? yeah me too. Lets take a brief look at popular Shooters on XBOX. Tom Clancy Games - Not exclusive. Cod Games - This isn't 2008 and MW 1 & 2 are dead / hacked. who plays cod anymore, really. If you do, get off this forum because there is a minimum age REQ of 18 years old. Battlefield - Non exclusive, waste of money if you aren't playing on PC Borderlands - Non Exclusive Halo - Exclusive as fuck. Too bad the developers that MADE this game GOOD are fuckin long gone, peacing out to make DESTINY. A game that will make any halo game since halo 2 look like shit. Further more, halo is dead on xbox, the series is trash and a halo 5 will flop harder than halo 4 did, which is actually astounding to think about.
i plan on getting a ps4. i have a ps3 and a xbox 360 right now. do i have to preorder a ps4 to make sure i get one at launch? thats what my friends have been telling me but im not sure...
Im pretty sure if you want a PS4 on DAY ONE you will have to buy one in person or order from a site that will have DAY ONE shipping. Amazon was bumping a ton of people up to DAY ONE shipping for free just for pre ordering with amazon.com, not sure if that is still available or not.
