Just wondering who here is really into cars? i myself love cars and am currently driving a 1984 BMW 528E, i have upgraded the fuel and ignition systems with bosch components and rebuilt the transmission. I plan on fixing up the suspension or engine internals next..... [EDIT] This isnt MY car, but mine is the same body style....imagine this, but in a charcoal grey.....and not missing the black thing on the front door What kind of cars do you guys drive and what (if any) modifications have you done/plan on doing??? man, i cant get over those subies, fucking sexy!! ill be getting some pics of my car up tomorrow, after i clean it and change the brakes =) its time for a bath!!!! but more people should post there cars and mods!!! i wanna see what the blades are rolling in.... and if you have lap times, 1/4 mile times or anything post 'em up.....i plan on taking mine to the track someday (next couple of months or so) just for a fun run.....probably going to Laguna Seca or Sear's Point (i believe its Infineon Raceway now....?) but anyone in the bay who is down to join me on that fun run should!!!

Eh.... I don't have the funds to pimp out a car, so I'm more worried about economy. I found this Saturn for 1100 bucks that gets 30-33 mpg IN TOWN. It's a life saver.
guess which car i drive. I kinda hate driving this because im always worried about someone hitting my car or keying it because douches do that around here. Like a month ago someone hit and ran me (while i was parked at schoool). Luckily theres no dents, just a scratch.
I drive a beater, but I love cars I'm driving a 1990 Mercury Topaz GS 2.3liter 100 horses... Lots of things wrong with it, but I got it for free. I'm an audiophile in everything else I do, so I want to get a mid-range system... Maybe after I get my tax return... Right now I'm struggling to afford fixing it (it has electrical gremlins living behind the distributor).
Heres my '04 s40. its nothing special, slapped on a new grill and tinted the windows and that improved the look a whooole lot but I spent more money in the sound system. Anyone else here real into car or home audio? I installed 2 12" infinity perfects, pioneer avh-6500dvd touchscreen (with navi), and perfect 6.1 component sets. the subs run of a jbl 1200.1 and the speakers off a direct 2150 amp. It was quite fun to install, but its been a while since I've doon anything to it. I just spend all my mohttp://ney on herb and travelling now. edit: sorry for the low res pictures
I have a black 2000 Dodge Durango with the 318 4x4, fully loaded. Everything is power and its all black leather. The windows are tinted and I have two 15s in it with a 1000 watt amp running them. I think I need to get another 1000 watt amp though because when I bought the speakers the dude told me that their peak power was at 1200 watts a piece but uh yeah... I also bought new door speakers and what have you. They are JL Audio speakers, they 8x8 door speakers came with amps. It gets pretty loud when you crank it up. But yeah... Other then that its pretty much stock. I used to have a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass that was gun metal grey. It was also pretty much stock. It did have the windows tinted and in that car I had 6 10's in the trunk. It was insane. The best car I had though was a 1988 Chevy Caprice. It was an old cop car. Had a rebuilt 350 in it that was bored .30 over, cam, lifters and all that good stuff. Had 3.83 gearing and posi track. Windows were tinted as dark as possible and on the inside it had custom center console and gauges. It was one of them 4-door beast. With me and three friends in the car it would eat some unsuspecting ricers, and now-a-days hotrods(mustangs, camaros, etc...).
haha talk about a scraper on dubs!!! haha thats clean, keep it pimpin =P and i forgot to add that i have about 1 grand in audio equipment (Sony Xplod head unit, and Polk speakers all around) ... and just curious...but how many of ou that had work done to your rides, did the work themselves. i had done everything except install the head unit......
