Yeah it was fucked up, It shouldn't have happened in the first place, But i don't get it, She won the case. The judge ruled it unconstitutional and she got her child back. Id say everything worked out for a shitty situation. And she proved that parents are the ones with the rights so why ask the question?
Just because a judge rules something is unconstitutional DOES NOT MEAN police will stop doing it. Point in case, filming police has been ruled numerous times to be completely legal. Yet people are still arrested for it, or have their cameras destroyed all the time.
This has NOTHING to do with liberal vs. conservative, it's about a specific department of health and their overzealous policies. NOT EVERYTHING can be boiled down to liberal vs. conservative. Shame on you for misleading everyone like this.
Filming police and having your camera broken is alot different than refusing to medicate your child and having a swat team with an APC break through your door. This will most likely not happen again, Its not everyday that the swat team is called in on a domestic case. If it happens again and more and more like you say than ill eat my shoe, But i believe the best possible thing came of a shitty situation.
I agree with you mostly. But I will say that a libertarian believes that this department shouldn't even exist, while a liberal advocates such government departments.
^^^^ totally true those of us libertarians would abolish this dept. Both liberals and conservatives advocate and fully support state intervention.
I don't understand the term liberal or the term conservative. Liberals want more government and conservatives want less? That makes no sense. By definition someone with "liberal" views would be pro freedoms. Liberal laws are laws that are less strict. So confused seems like the terms should be switched. Gun controlled is definatly a conservative ideal

Classic liberalism is akin to libertarianism and such, less laws taxes and government. Dont know how this occured :/
It probably occurred around the same time that Abraham Lincoln started to be thought of as a hero, rather than the hypocritical murderer of tens if not hundreds of thousands of Americans that he had killed during the Civil War.
