Who can justify their religion?... LOGICALLY

There is no proof to what we know is right, we find out new things everyday, usually leading to the changing of what we thought was right.

trust me, there is always a way to justify anything. It might not be logical but they will swear it to be valid

 

Fact: No one would have an issue with religion or faith in general if it were not for the true fanatics of religion.

Fact: Not everything that happens around you can be explained by science or logic (paranormal activity for example).

When you can start explaining how or why certain things happen or exist around you that cannot be readily dismissed by logic and science, then I will take the time to try and start interjecting logic into religion. Until then, try not to conclude that every single person who happens to have some form of faith is an ignorant idiot.

While I do agree with what you've posted here, I tend to find the most logical stance is somewhere between faith and science, because neither of them have 100% of the answers.

 

Maybe you should take up spirituality. Believing in all the metaphysical stuff is not the point. It's about developing yourself into a better person. Obviously from you post above you could use some help. If you really wanna improve yourself and become a nice, happier, and more satisfied being let me know and I will gladly point you in the right direction.

heres my logical rundown on 'what' i think the truth is

i see god in the panthestic sense , and we know existance exists so therefore in my mind i know god exists

i think this because science shows the universe is constantly expanding and time is ceaseless so it seems like existance is eternal , thats why god is eternal/all powerfu/infinate , i feel like the personification of god comes through a natural need to feel safe or loved and is not wrong as long as your mindful of it


now god to me is three things natural law , self , and the source

now first are the 7 laws some of which have been proven by science and some are just common sense [mentalism , correspondance , vibration , polarity , rythm , causality , gender] once you get these into your understand youll be mind fucked on how everything in the universe fits into them

next is the self , i think with all of what we are learning in the fields of quatum science is starting to really point towards the existance of some sort of soul. although we do not yet have the knowledge/tech. to test it i think the time is coming when we will. also the countless accounts of children recalling past lives like a child pointing to a picture of iwo gima and saying 'hey thats where my plain crashed' is a very stron indicator of a soul , now to be honest and im sorry if this is rude but i think you must have some kind of deep rooted irrational skepticism of anything spiritual to denie that the countless similure accounts of these things are baseless and just the childs imagination , now alone this would not be enough for me to logicly come to the conclusion of a non physical self but the fact is iv been out of my body a few times so its past the point of a belief to me , all these things just reinforce my already confirmed stance

now lastly this is where i may be stepping out of the logic zone i must say , but at the same time i feel my abandonment of logic is rightful as logic is not the only tool of the human being , there is such a thing as intuition , and i think realizing there is such a thing as intuition..... is logical considering what you sense with it and what people with it can do [this fits into 'the middle way' concept but that would be the "how' in what i believe which would be an entirly different subject/post , im sticking to the 'what"]
now what does that intuition tell me? it tells me that existance has a sense of connection and a will to be reunited , that will and that drive is what i consider 'the source' i cannot really get into and do the idea justice so ill leave it to my friend Guatama

Religion can be personal. Whatever the mind believes makes it real, in a sense. I believe in a God. I don't particularly believe in organized religion. I just believe there is a higher power that we live through.
