White Widow / What seed bank?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Seeds Banks' started by Dutchey, Nov 10, 2012.

  1. So im a first time grower just planning ahead at this stage after a bit of research i came to the conclusion that i would grow white widow as it was amped up to be a good beginner strain. (open to other options)

So in looking into ordering seeds there are way too many seed banks and im just not too sure which one i should go with i do however really like the look of greenhouseseedco has anyone ordered with them before? any input would be much appreciated!

  2. Attitude has a lot of breeders, thats where I buy from.

Personally I like TGA's stuff growing his plushberry now, autoflowers are somewhat cool and northern lights is also a good beginner strain.

  3. All the White Widow strains are rip off versions of Mr Nice - Black Widow, so if you want the real deal then grab a pack of those.

I've tried the Widow from Greenhouse and a few of the others and they have not been bad but the stuff from Mr Nice is amazing.

Femaleseeds do the best femmed version IMO, thier X-line Black Widow is nice and femmed too :smoking:

I agree with thunder. Female seeds is a great breeder (my fav). Just grew a WWxBig bud from them. Was a wonderful plant. Topped itself after the first 2 true leaves. Caught back up to the rest of them after a week of just sittin there lol

Why is WW known as a good beginner strain. I hear that alot now. When i started growing it was known as a hard one to start with....then again i used bottles back then...with organic any strain is ezpie

I also would recommend Mr. Nice Black Widow as the real White Widow.

The only original cup winning White Widow is Mr. Nice renamed Black Widow.

"A most infamous strain that since 1994 has won a number of awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995, and has acquired acclaim from most corners of the globe - rightly so. It has a pedigree of parentage that combines a Brazilian Sativa with a South Indian hybrid. Basically, it is the original parents of White Widow changing its colors like its company. Indoors 10 weeks of flowering will be necessary to realize the immense resin production. In the northern hemisphere expect harvest around September/October, having planted as late as June. However, there is a chance that rain could reduce the expected yield. A highly recommended strain for amateur breeders - the male being preferable."

"Numerous growers world wide who know how to grow will have at some time or other had this plant on their grow list. The plant is vigorous and well scented not to mention it frosts up the last weeks of the flowering cycle. Highly recommended "

  6. Okay cool thanks for the input :D

  7. Try Nirvana. They usually have good deals on the WW. Thats where I got mine. Good customer service, plus you get loyalty points for every dollar you spend. Get the Fem seeds

  8. WW depends on the pheno. Brazilian genetics can make for a very Sativa leaning pheno, and sativa's as a rule they tend not to like much nitrogen available, and more potassium in flower... and they can be very tall and need training, and when the meristem is taken out and the side branching system employed they will need stakes. The nugs get heavy and droop away from the light source. They reek. You need a good filter.

  9. actually Paradise Seeds too have in stock WW (feminized),Paradise s.is a good seedbank, but WW is new in stok so i can't tell you if is better than others.....by now....

Try also I.C.E. strain that have WW "inside"
