I just ran into a problem, so begging of week 3, I decided to flush the plants and I guess they were shocked and slowed down a lot and showed signs of over watering. Ever since then my leaves been turning yellow and I just gave them nutes the first time about 3 days, half a table spoon of Big Bloom and Grow Big in one gallon water and watered them.

Here is a picture of what the leaves look like right now.

  2. Could you post some pics and tell me about your ventilation ?

  3. Got a 6 in inline fan with speed control, about 450cfm blowing right out the window. I will be getting carbon filter soon in few days or a week.

  4. Does it get to the 90s ?

  5. After 4 weeks, why your white widow no bigger? Lol it yeah if you mixed the concentrates of big bloom and how big together that could cause you probs. I always mix them in w water in separate one gallon jugs before mixing together.. Plus at 4 weeks you shouldn't need to go half strength ... Either way subbed

Never, temps are pretty stable staying at 75

Your right but I think at week 3 growth got stunned, probably from over watering but I they they might be catching up now. I'll just veg them another 2 weeks or 3, so total of month n half in veg. Any idea why the leaves might be turning yellow and getting burns? It's my first grow btw so I'm still learning...

  7. how are they looking now? still yellowing?

Yea I got picture of the plant that has the most yellowing and it's the biggest plant. I go back in the first post and click on the link for the great picture of yellowing! I actually gave them their dose of nutes 3 days so let's see what happens in few days. I'm gonna give them the next dose tomorrow at full strength.

    Picture of the yellowing

  9. they look nice and green apart from those yellow bits towards the leaf tips.. not too sure what it is but maybe it could be a little bit of light bleaching?

  10. Hmmm well let's see how they respond in few days. Btw one of the plants I topped is looking so healthy and bushy. I love my babies lol

  11. Yeah slight yellowing isn't that bad, it could be the change from going to nutes...just stick to the ff chart with your nutes and you should be fine

  12. How about noise ? I bet it roars lol . If my pc fans are rather loud , I'm assuming yours is louder .

Actually I was surprised at how quite it was, cuz its hooked up to the speed control and running at the lowest setting. I can't wait to go all at it in my next grow. I'm gonna grow 6 white widows. And crop all of them and do scrog.
420- saw ur grow, looks good so far.

  14. Would it be a good idea to do SCROG right now at this point, they are 4 weeks or am a little bit late? Been thinking about making a screen but might not be a great idea if i think about it.

  15. I say you try and lst . At this point I think it is muh better then a scrog .

  16. Scrog is a good idea, topping numerous time's could be a sick strategy too, LST, Supercropping, etc... I'd say they got a slow start if they are 4 weeks. You should back off the light like 6-8 inches (will actually veg a better plant, too compact and you cant get light penetration for flower development).

Just be ready for a longer veg (It'll be worth it)

Keep it flushed and PHed, especially that spoil, it looks kinda dense.

    Don't overwater.

Give em some form of Cal/Mag - If your soils acidic you can use Dolomite Lime for a cheap fix for both the pH and Cal/Mag. If It's not a problem then use Epsom Salts (works for me =D).

  17. What the ratio to use per 1 gallon ? isnt it like 1 teaspoon ?

  18. What exactly do you mean by that? how do i check if my soil is acidic and the yellowing is caused by Cal/Mag def?

How will DOLOMITE LIME and ESPOM SALT help?

  19. Sounds about right, I do like a pinch per gallon. It's not a lot.

  20. Those both provide Cal/Mag witch is OFTEN deficient in indoor gardens.

    To test soil pH:

    pH some water to 6.0

Water plant until it's about to leak thru the bottom and let it chill for a few mins.

Then water alot so you get a bunch of water pouring thru

Then test the pH of that water and if it's higher then 6.0 you know your soil is higher (more basic - usually fine, unless runoff is like 7.0+)

If It's under 6, then you're acidic, and locking out your plants available nutes.

    ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
If soil does happen to be acidic, use Dolomite lime to not only raise pH of the soil, but also provide Cal / Mag as well.
