Hello first time grower here I am just using regular organic potting soil with perlite mixed in my seedlings are about a week old and I just noticed this today on one of the stems of them and I wondering if anyone could tell me what it is? This is the only one that has it and from the side it looks like something bit into it
Looks like a bug ate it. I wouldn't worry too much. The plant looks good otherwise. That will heal, just keep an eye on it.
Update! So whatever took a bite out of my first plant came back today and completely ate one of my seedlings and tore up another seedling will this seedling survive in the current stage it's in with its cotyledons damaged?
Damn! She really got munched on! That would piss me off! She will survive but that bug will come back to finish the job...
