  1. ok so my plant is about 4 1/2 to 5 weeks old from gemination and im watering it every 3-4 days with a 20-30-20 fertilizer and whats happening is that the first two bottom leaves have partially no dried out but more or less shrivled because its not like there actually dry and dying or anything it just appears that they are and then a couple of the other leaves closer o the top have began turning white at the end and also there is a couple of white spots to now i have noticed that there was a small insect that flew out when i took the cover off the plant and i have also seen a couple of lady bugs on my other plants wich are now dead and i have no clue how the lady bugs got there and the other small insect that flew out when i took the cover off apeared to be like small lttle flys or more of just overgrown nats so if anyone with any advice would be able to help me out on this, it would be much appreaciated and i will update with pics as soon as i can.

  2. oh and im also growing in a soiless mix

  3. ladybugs are your friends they are predators, which means you really need to closely inspect your plants

look under the leaves aswell, shake the plant, do bugs fly out and what color are they

  4. Well there were some insects almost like baby flys and im pretty sure they were a dark brown but im not 100% sure, my plant at the moment is only about 5 weeks old from germination and since it is such a small plant i havent noticed alot of them but i beilive one did fall off from under the leave when i took the cover off the plant. ill keep an eye out for more of them also i noticed that more of the leaves eare starting to have white edges ad the two little bottom leaves look like they have a fungus affecting them or something cuss they have a white/green appreance to them and they look really diformed ad shrivled

  5. sounds like fungus gnats, spray neem oil on the soil and use yellow sticky traps to catch the adults returning to lay eggs, takes a couple weeks

but you should post pics sounds like other issues there aswell

  6. ok well since then i havent noticed anymore cuss i cleaned and made sure everthing was sanitary and yea i think there gone now but im not sure to early to tell but what had happend is i cut holes in top of the cover to alow air circulation and the plant in one night shrivled p and dried out a little not really bad or anything and so i coverd up the holes and sprayed it with water. but i will still try your idea just to make sure all the insects are gone
