Hey, I just tried making qwiso for my second time. I'm using 70% and it worked great last time. but this time it turned into like a milk color while evaporating. pic below
bump, i found out i had company comming over, so i said fuck it, and grabbed the hair dryer. i've heard that it causes it to be lower quality, but it's better then dumping it. i finished it and scraped it, then used my torch to form it into a part amber/gold and part brown blob. pic below
The solution turned white because you used 70%. That means about one third of your solution is water. This also extracts water soluble things from the plant matter that you do not want. You will get cleaner results using pure alcohol. Or just use butane its always better than a alcohol extract. Sounds like you enjoyed it so thats all that matters.
